Looking to seduce audiences with something new, Tigerfire was formed with the goal of redefining rock music covers and performing those high octane cover songs that you wouldn't regularly hear. The idea behind Tigerfire remains a powerful yet simpleone; playing music they enjoy and feel proud of playing---music that people will want to listen to. Like Scott Weiland (STP, Velvet Revolver) once said, "Music is the universal language. More people remember more songs that have meant something during their life. Music defines periods in your life, and that's kind of the beauty of it".
Spending most of their lives saturated in music, the Atlanta based rock outfit---vocalist Zach Spiva, guitarists Chris Sellers and Jason Bennett, bassist James Foster and drummer Chris Morris ---know their tight sound is defiantly forward- looking and have a rock solid musical history that placed them here today.
Playing in a previous band together, Sellers, Bennett and Morris developed something very powerful and intense between them, a musical chemistry that never went away. Sensing that enough time had lapsed between their previous band departure, the trio linked with bassist Foster. Adding Foster was a huge piece of the puzzle for the band. After a lengthy period without a vocalist and several auditions later, the four connected with Spiva who was what the band was looking for in a vocalist. It took playing together one time to know the lineup was complete. Whether it's Spiva's diverse vocals, Seller's and Bennett's electrifying guitar riffs and solos, Foster's dynamic bass lines, or Morris's precise and versatile drumming ability, Tigerfire wil leave you wanting more.
By aligning their unwavering dedication to a tight sound with added perfection, Tigerfire hopes to define the landscape of today's cover music scene. From songs ranging across multiple musical eras from bands such as Skid Row, Motley Crue, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against The Machine, and SoundGarden, to the more modern rock tunes of Velvet Revolver, Audioslave and Avenged Sevenfold, they want to play music that people want to hear. Tigerfire will for sure arrive with substance, style and energy that will ultimately capture their audiences.
